3,000-plus sign Morale by Mail postcards

More than 3,000 postcards were filled out during the third annual Morale by Mail campaign, which ran Friday and Saturday at Lansdowne Place.

That surpasses last year's total of 2,400 postcards but was short of the goal of sending 6,000 postcards to overseas troops.

Postcards will be delivered to Canadian troops serving in areas such as Afghanistan, Jerusalem and Bosnia.
