A Peterborough man faces fraud charges for misleading a company while ordering product, police said.
During the month of November, a man attended Trent Metals on Fisher Dr. on 11 occasions to place orders for copper wire totaling more than $5,000, police said. The man told the company he was an employee of another business when he was not.
Police were informed and investigated the incident and the man was arrested Thursday trying to purchase more wire.
Matthew Carey, 25, or Almeara Dr., is charged with fraud over $5,000. He is scheduled for court Friday.
